Set in a former Brewery workers cottage built by Lord Northbrook in 1843, Hang Your Hat is situated in Winchester and offers accommodation with a private courtyard garden, free WiFi and a log fireplace. Winchester city centre is a 5-minute walk from the holiday home and features a historic cathedral and award-winning restaurants and pubs nestled within the oldest high street in England. Guests will benefit from a suite with 600-thread Egyptian cotton linen, a Hammam style steam room with scented candles, and Sky TV channels. Additional features include a fully furnished kitchen, iPod speaker and a wide selection of DVDs. The private courtyard features stone cut over 1000 years ago; part of a mullioned window of Hyde Abbey, the resting place of King Alfred The Great, whose bones are now thought to be buried in the local churchyard of St Bartholomew's. Breakfast is available at one of several local venues recommended by the owner. The nearest airport is Southampton, located 20 minutes' drive from the property.
