When I travel I love to stay at luxurious hotels - especially the kind of places that offer over the top extras and really spoil their guests with great service, nice spas, awesome restaurants and beautiful views. What more can you want? To save some time, I've put together this list of my favourite 5-star hotels and resorts in Higashiizu. I hope you will like it!

1 Gyokusui Higashiizu, Japan
Ryokan. Located amid lush greenery, Japanese-style hotel Gyokusui boasts indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, luxurious rooms with a personal attendant service and a Japanese garden. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby, and massages and beauty treatments are available. Spacious rooms feature a bedroom with wooden flooring and comfortable beds, and a Japanese-style living area with a tatami (woven-straw) floor. They come with a TV, a fridge and yukata robes. All rooms have an attached bathroom, and some have a private hot spring bath. Guests can leisurely enjoy public hot spring baths, some of which are surrounded by nature, or reserve an outdoor bath for private use. A free shuttle runs to/from Izukyuko Izu-Atagawa Train Station, and hotel Gyokusui offers free parking. A Japanese breakfast, and for dinner a Japanese multi-course menu with seasonal and local specialities are served at the dining room. Gyokusui is an 8-minute drive from Izukyuko Izu-Atagawa Station, and a 10-minute drive from the Atagawa Tropical and Alligator Garden. Guest review score 8.0, rooms from around 63800 JPY.
