  Hotel. Therasia Sea and SPA is set on the peninsula of Vulcanello, with views of the Aeolian Islands. This impressive building in white stone features a modern spa, and a private access to the sea. Local materials have been used to build the Therasia, including molten rock from Mount Etna, Sicilian terracotta, cedar and olive wood. The rooms are elegant and decorated in soft, relaxing colours. Guests can explore a nearby walking path of 1 km, going through Mediterranean bush, cactuses, and subtropical plants. A free shuttle to the centre of Vulcano and the harbour is also available. Each room is equipped with a balcony, an LCD TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom in lava stone and coloured Sicilian tiles. Some rooms offer views of the sea and the islands. The property has 3 restaurants, including the Aricpelago, a grill and pizzeria, as well as the Il Cappero restaurant, which serves Mediterranean cuisine including Sicilian specialities.
