When I travel I love to stay at luxurious hotels - especially the kind of places that offer over the top extras and really spoil their guests with great service, nice spas, awesome restaurants and beautiful views. What more can you want? To save some time, I've put together this list of my favourite 5-star hotels and resorts in Vaucluse. I hope you will like it!

Located in the hilltop village of Gordes, Airelles Gordes, La Bastide features 18th century décor and offers panoramic views over the Luberon valley from its many terraces and hanging gardens. Free WiFi is available anywhere in this Palace. Most of the spacious rooms and suites feature private bathrooms with a bathtub, and some also include a separate shower. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is provided. Buffet breakfast is available every morning. The hotel's restaurants, L'Orangerie and Le Clover, both feature Provençal cuisine made with Mediterranean products served with regional wines. More traditional meals can also be enjoyed in the vaulted dining room or on the shaded terrace with its view of the valley. Clover Gordes, the restaurant by Chef Jean-François Piège also offer a unique grill experience. The Sisley Paris Spa offers an indoor swimming pool, 4 treatment rooms and a fitness center.   Hotel. Stay in the heart of Avignon. La Mirande, dating back to 1309, is a hotel located in Avignon's city centre. It offers 18th-century style guest rooms with views through the antique windows overlooking the Palais des Papes. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. Each of the soundproofed air-conditioned guest rooms at La Mirande are decorated with a different wall tapestry, and have oak-wood parquet flooring and silk-lined curtains.
