When I travel I love to stay at luxurious hotels - especially the kind of places that offer over the top extras and really spoil their guests with great service, nice spas, awesome restaurants and beautiful views. What more can you want? To save some time, I've put together this list of my favourite 5-star hotels and resorts in Vail Ski. I hope you will like it!

This luxury resort is 5 minutes’ walk from the Eagle Bahn Gondola. It boasts an outdoor rooftop lap pool, hot tubs and an on-site bar and restaurant. Free WiFi is offered in all accommodations.
A flat-screen cable TV and a DVD player are provided in each spacious accommodation at The Arrabelle at Vail Square a RockResort. Rooms and suites are decorated with Alpine décor and feature a fully-functioning fireplace and a large work desk. Select suites offer fully equipped kitchens where guests can cook a gourmet meal.
Featuring ski-in/ski-out access, The Arrabelle at Vail Square offers ski storage and is a ski pass vendor. A 24-hour reception is featured for guest convenience. A fitness centre and a business centre are located on-site.
Guests of The Arrabelle can enjoy fine dining at Tavern on the Square. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant features a two-storey fireplace in the hotel’s Great Room. If they prefer, guests can enjoy après-ski cocktails on the terrace.

Located in the centre of Vail Valley, this Vail, Colorado luxury resort features an indoor swimming pool, restaurant and spa. After skiing, free cookies and hot chocolate are provided for guests. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all apartments.
A fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a flat-screen cable TV, and an iPod docking station are standard amenities in each apartment at Solaris Residences. Nintendo Wii, a seating area and a dining area are also provided.
A fitness centre and laundry services are available at Residences Solaris. Styled in modern elegant décor, fireplaces and dark leather furniture are provided throughout.
Matsuhisu Japanese Restaurant offers on-site dining at Solaris Residences. Guests can also enjoy a drink at the bar onsite.

Located 5 minutes’ walk from Gondola One ski lift in Vail, Sonnenalp features 3 restaurants and free WiFi throughout the property. The resort has a spa centre and a ski pass sales point, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Private parking is available on site.
All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Select rooms feature a living room and a fireplace convenience. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer.
After a day of skiing or hiking, guests can enjoy a cocktail at King’s Club bar complete with live entertainment. Swiss Chalet offers European cuisine and Bully Ranch offers American fare.

Guests can relax at the outdoor swimming pool, or enjoy a body massage at the 21,000 square-foot Bachelor Gulch Spa. The spa also offers a range of body scrubs, body wraps and facial treatments.
