When I travel I love to stay at luxurious hotels - especially the kind of places that offer over the top extras and really spoil their guests with great service, nice spas, awesome restaurants and beautiful views. What more can you want? To save some time, I've put together this list of my favourite 5-star hotels and resorts in Split Region. I hope you will like it!

1 Damianii Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa Omiš, Croatia

Just a few metres away from the Adriatic Sea and a private area on sandy beach with canopies and sunbeds, the lavish boutique Damianii Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa features a heated outdoor pool, a sun terrace surrounded by a garden with palm trees. Secured parking garage is available at a surcharge.
Free WiFi is available in all the stylishly decorated interiors of the Damianii. Each individually furnished room comes with a terrace or a balcony, SMART cable TVs and a hot tub, while some units have a private sauna. Guests have 24 hours access to fitness centre.
The Damiiano restaurant offers a Dalmatian-Italian cuisine, prepared using fresh local ingredients. It serves an à-la-carte breakfast, light meals during the day and high gastronomic delicacies for dinner. Guests can also enjoy al fresco dining on the restaurant terrace that provides sea and pool views.
The Diamond Wellness & Spa center features a wide range of treatments as well as an indoor pool, steam room, sauna and Whirlpool jacuzzi. Water sports rental facilities are available on the beach. Zipline, canoeing, rafting, photo safari, jeep safari, trekking, free climbing, as well as historic sightseeing and trips to islands can be arranged at the property.
The hotel is situated in the village of Duće within a 15-minute walk from the centre of the small town of Omiš. A local bus stop with frequent lines to the centre of Omiš and to the UNESCO-protected historic center of Split can be found 50 metres away.
Upon previous request, the hotel can organise transfers to and from the Split ferry port, train and bus stations, as well as from Split International Airport.

The largest swimming pool is located on the hotel's main terrace, right next to the poolside bar. An infinity pool, which provides panoramic views of the sea, is also available.

Built in 1921 and completely restructured in 2015, the Hotel Park Split is a traditional first-class hotel in the centre of Split, right next to the famous Bačvice beach. It offers an outdoor pool and an upscale restaurant. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property.
Each of the air-conditioned rooms is a combination of contemporary comfort with traditional elegance and is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a safe. Spacious bathrooms include bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries.
