Massages can also be enjoyed at this design hotel, located a 5-minute drive from Ikaho Onsen hot spring. Decorated in a tranquil modern Japanese style and furnished with comfortable Western-style beds, the air-conditioned suites at Kaichoro Inn have a minibar and an LCD TV with both cable and satellite channels. Each stylish zen suite comes with a large seating area and Yukata robes, and boasts floor heating in winter. Kajika-bashi Bridge is a 5-minute drive from the property, while the Ikaho Ishidangai stone steps are a 25-minute drive away. Ikaho Onsen hot spring is a 30-minute drive away. On-site parking is free. A variety of treatments are on offer at St. Gregory Spas Ikaho, from aromatherapy to facials to footbaths with traditional “kampo” Chinese medical herbs. Dinner is served at a cosy private room at Saryo.
