Set within a 1000-acre private nature reserve in Central America’s last remaining lowland tropical rainforest in Costa Rica’s wild Osa Peninsula. Offering an outdoor pool and views of the sea, Lapa Rios Ecolodge is set in Puerto Jiménez, 32 km from Golfito.
17 private bungalows line three ridges overlooking the pristine point where the Golfo Dulce meets the Pacific Ocean. Certain rooms include a seating area where you can relax. A terrace or patio are featured in certain rooms. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower.
Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. A number of activities are offered in the area, such as snorkeling and fishing.
The property is about 20 km from the nearest airstrip in the town of Puerto Jimenez, a short 50 minute flight from Costa Rica’s San Jose Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). Driving from SJO to Lapa Rios Eco Lodge takes about 7 hours.
