When I travel I love to stay at luxurious hotels - especially the kind of places that offer over the top extras and really spoil their guests with great service, nice spas, awesome restaurants and beautiful views. What more can you want? To save some time, I've put together this list of my favourite 5-star hotels and resorts in Ko Samed. I hope you will like it!

Located on the palm-fringed beaches of Koh Samed Island, Paradee hotel offers teak and Thai silk decorated villas with a private balcony and free internet connection. It features an on-site library.
Paradee features thatched-roof villas with a separate living area and spacious bathroom. All villas have private pools and a patio. They are equipped a flat-screen television, DVD player and mini-bar.
Rejuvenating massage treatments can be enjoyed at Paradee's spa or head out to the sea for windsurfing and snorkelling. Island day trips and diving lessons are available at the hotel.
Cocktails are served at Sunset Bar. Guests can also enjoy Paradee's on-site restaurant, which serves a delicious selection of Thai and international dishes.
