When I travel I love to stay at luxurious hotels - especially the kind of places that offer over the top extras and really spoil their guests with great service, nice spas, awesome restaurants and beautiful views. Located in the hilltop village of Gordes, Airelles Gordes, La Bastide features 18th century décor and offers panoramic views over the Luberon valley from its many terraces and hanging gardens.   Hotel. Located just a 5-minute drive from the centre of Gordes, Hotel Les Bories & Spa is set in an 8-hectare estate of olive trees, cypresses, oaks and lavender. The property offers a 20 metres x 20 metres heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and panoramic views of the Luberon. Free WiFi is available in public areas. All the air-conditioned guest rooms and suites feature a terrace and are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV. The private bathrooms have separate toilets. The Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant and bistrot offer meals made by chef Gregory Mirer using seasonal local produce. Meals can be served on the shaded terrace, by the poolside, or in the hotel's dining room. Upon request and for an extra charge, guests can access The Maison d'Ennea spa, which features an indoor heated pool a hot tub, a sauna, a hamman and a fitness room.
